Shadow Minister for Planning Michael Daley MP to Visit St Leonards South

Lane Cove Labor and Councillor Andrew Zbik want to know what the community thinks of plans to rezone part of St Leonards South. 

A community meeting will be held on Friday, 9th March, at 3.30pm, at Newland Park (corner of Canberra Ave and Duntroon Ave, St Leonards).

LABOR COUNCILLOR ANDREW ZBIK SUCCESSFUL IN MAKING LANE COVE COUNCIL AUSTRALIA'S NEWEST REFUGEE WELCOME ZONE

Councillor Andrew Zbik announces that on Monday night, 11 December, 2017, Lane Cove Council passed his motion to become Sydney’s newest Refugee Welcome Zone.

The motion, put forward by Councillor Andrew Zbik, was passed 5:2 at the most recent Council meeting.

Andrew went to the local council elections promising to introduce the motion if elected and this result is fulfilment of that election commitment.

LANE COVE LABOR CONFIRMS FIRST WIN IN OVER 70 YEARS

Lane Cove Labor is pleased to confirm that it has won Labor’s first seat in the Lane Cove area in 73 years.
Andrew Zbik has broken the long Labor drought in Lane Cove and is the new Labor Councillor for West Ward.
