Katie Little is the lead candidate for our West Ward Team
Inspiration and Action

 

 

Katie Little is patron of the Jeanne Little  Alzheimer’s Research Fund with NeuRA, founded to put money specifically into research for the number one cause of death for Australian women. She has been featured in Australian Story, 60 Minutes’ covid-19 special, 2GB regarding Aged Care and VAD, and is a regular speaker, published author and entertainer.

 

She has DJed at the Mothers Day Classic Marathon and is a female health educator with Family Planning NSW. Katie is a local single mum of three kids and foster carer, passionate about LGBTQIA+ and neurodiversity and advocating for women’s issues.

 

Katie is looking forward to representing her community and continuing the excellent work started by Lane Cove Labor's Andrew Zbik.

James Hansen

James Hansen is a father of three, resident of Lane Cove North, and works for Transport for NSW.  His professional background spans transport planning, infrastructure consulting, and information technology. His qualifications include an MBA from AGSM UNSW and a Masters degree in City Planning from UNSW. 

 

He has lived in the Lane Cove North area for sixteen years. James deeply appreciates the area's village atmosphere, bushland, river views, and convenient public transport to Chatswood and Sydney CBD.

 

He is a community representative on the Lane Cove Council Bicycle Advisory Committee and is passionate about making our roads and streets more inviting places to live, walk, or ride.

 

Heather Oglivie

Heather has been a grassroots Labor member for many decades. 

 

She is passionate about women’s rights and has been actively involved in supporting women and children fleeing family and domestic violence.  After attaining a social work degree, Heather has worked as a screen producer for nearly forty years and a scriptwriter for the last twenty. 

 

She's produced film and television for Warner Bros, Disney and Paramount Pictures, funding projects worth more than $100 million.  She has taught at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School and the Tisch School of Arts at New York University.
